Carol Nicholson is an experienced marketing and advertising executive. For over 25 years, Carol has worked in the marketing of consumer goods, business to business services and non-profits. She is also degreed as a Registered Nurse. Carol opened her first Agency in 1984, Communications Network grew quickly and was purchased by Potter and Mack – a large agency specializing in consumer goods, in 1986.

Carol and her team did national programs for Hinoichi Tofu, which won an American Heart Association award. She opened her next firm in 1990, and serviced clients such as American Express, New York Life and many Fortune 100 clients.

International Marketing Company has also developed a focus on Healthcare, Medical Devices and Natural Products, as well as Cause Marketing. Carol speaks at professional meetings and is a gifted presenter. She and her team have also developed a Media Division which has produced programming for FOX TV, PBS, and Pay Per View specials. Carol maintains residences in both Los Angeles and Montana.

OUR TEAM

James_Bennett1James Bennett, Graphic Designer

James Bennett has been recognized with over twenty national and state awards for design excellence. He started his professional career in the commercial printing industry at the age of fifteen and in 1992 began his career in design. James also taught night school at the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles before moving to Montana.

Excellence and versatility are two attributes James has learned by working with hundreds of clients. One needs to be able to produce the wide variety of design needs for each company—from identity development to all the essential marketing materials. There is no cookie cutter solution for developing the creative design for each company, and each company needs to be visually unique in the marketplace. With each project James strives to visually position his client’s ahead of their competitors.

James enjoys hiking in the mountains, biking and most of all spending time with his family— including his wife Jean, his two sons John and Matt, and his daughter Abby. He also recently became a Grandpa and enjoys spending time with his two grandchildren.

 

Anika Hanisch, Senior Copywriter

Anika-Hanish1Anika Hanisch is a published freelance writer, ghostwriter, and coauthor. She has written for the natural products industry for over a decade and, prior to that, worked as a consultant communications coordinator for a variety of small businesses and non-profits. In her work with IMC, Hanisch ghostwrites for practitioners and NP brands who wish to educate consumers and industry professionals regarding new developments in natural health. She crafts web copy, educational scripts, print materials, blogs, and press releases for supplement manufacturers. She also helps oversee a team of writers and editors who create comprehensive marketing text for IMC’s clients. Hanisch’s own byline work has appeared in the national positive thinking magazine Guideposts, as well as regionals such as At Home, BALANCE, Montana Magazine, Business to Business, and Distinctly Montana.

 

Abby-Hernandez1Abby Hernandez, Production Manager

Raised in beautiful Montana, Abby has a natural love for the outdoors and an appreciation for living a healthy lifestyle. Abby comes to IMC after spending nearly a decade in the Sports and Entertainment Industry where she served a variety of sales, marketing and account management roles. Her experience includes time with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the 5-time MLS Cup Champion LA Galaxy, and as Assistant Director of Championships & Marketing with the Big West Conference.

Abby earned her Bachelors of Science in Health and Human Performance at Montana State University-Billings with a minor in Business Administration and received a Master’s Degree in Sports Business Management from California State University, Long Beach.

Abby married Josh, her college sweetheart, in 2012 and has two children.

 

Leslie-Atkinson1Leslie Atkinson, Production Manager

Leslie Atkinson brings to IMC a diverse background of experience. She began her professional career in training and development but has been working in marketing and business development for more than a decade. From corporate America to small, local businesses, the common thread in Leslie’s experience is her passion for building client relationships with a service oriented mindset. In addition to her day job, she is a budgeting coach and teaches workshops on leadership and goal setting.
Outside of her professional life, Leslie enjoys being a wife, and a mom to 2 daughters and 2 dogs. She balances her left-brained professional interests with her right-brained creative interests like sewing, quilting and teaching piano lessons.

 

Nicole-Cohn1 Nicole Cohn, Copywriter:
Whether it was working as a raft guide, managing accounts for a printing company, or helping to run a shoe store, the art of writing and editing has always found Nicole Cohn. No matter where she went, or what job title she held, Nicole was constantly being asked to stop what she was hired to do and work with the written word instead–and she loved it. It just made sense to start doing it full-time.

Nicole brings with her a diverse background that allows her to be uniquely versatile for her clients. This is Nicole’s passion and there is nothing in the world she would rather be doing.

 

Mitch Perliss, Digital Marketing

Mitch Perliss is a 30-year sales and marketing veteran of the home entertainment software industry, holding executive positions in all aspects of the business including retail, wholesale, distribution and new media. Lauded for his communication skills and positive interaction with clients and vendors, Perliss has transitioned into the digital world, specializing in Internet marketing, including developing Social Media campaigns covering all platforms.
